**Please have a read of the information below for more details

ABOUT THE BOX

On a seasonal basis Mossy Willow Farm direct delivers a weekly food box of organic, seasonal and freshly picked vegetables to the City** every Wednesday afternoon / evening.

On-farm pickup is available on Wednesday afternoon / evening with an additional pick-up site from 16 Beach General Store, Rye available on Tuesday afternoon / evening.

The Autumn veggie boxes will be available in January

Mother nature makes the decisions each week, so your box contents will depend on what is seasonally ripe and ready at the farm. We put a lot of thought and love into creating a diverse and well-balanced box for you. This Spring season we are growing Broccoli, Cauliflower, Cabbage, Wombok, Kale, Salad Mix, Rainbow chard, Beetroot, Kohlrabi, red and white Spring Onions, Collards, Radishes, Sugar Snap Peas, Snow Peas, Fennel, baby kale, Tatsoi, baby Bok choi, sweet Japanese turnips, Carrots, Parsley, Dill, Coriander, cucumbers, zucchinis and more!! There are also number of staple vegetables which we do not grow on our farm (such as potatoes, onions and sweet potato, and pumpkins) which we source from various Organic and Biodynamic farmers.

You will also receive a monthly newsletter giving you a little snapshot of what is happening on the farm, how the season is panning out, some interesting food systems reading and recipe suggestions to get the kitchen fun happening. It's our way of keeping you connected to where your food comes from.

About the CSA Model (Community Supported Agriculture)

Community Supported Agriculture is a system which reduces the gap between consumer and producer, connecting the two groups in order to create a relationship of community, support, and longevity. The dialogue and the economic system between the farmer and the community is design to encourage a shared responsibility for the growing and risk associated with production. This in part why (as read below) the subscribers are asked to pay up front, either at the beginning of the whole season, or at least, at the beginning of every month. Paying up front before the seasons/month begins has always been a core part of the CSA model, as it enables us, the farmers, the confidence to know the food is already sold, so we can dedicate more time to growing it in the best possible way possible!

PRicing

Boxes delivered to city members cost $240 a month, which is $60 a box . Local pick-up boxes are $200 a month which is $50 a box.

Signing up for a box means committing to us, your farmers, for the duration of the 3 month membership cycle. Once signing up you will be directly charged once a month, every month for the season (3 total payments). After this period the direct debt will automatically stop unless you inform us that you would like to continue.
