It's garlic planting season at Mossy Willow Farm, and we'd love you to lend a hand.
Volunteer with us on Saturday 25 April, helping Farmer Simon plant Mossy Willow's next crop of artisan garlic. You'll come away with knowledge about the ins-and-outs of planting, harvesting and caring for this amazing plant, and gain insight into the daily responsibilities of commercial farming.
The day wouldn't be complete without a garlic-themed reward, so we'll break for a beautiful (and you guessed it, very garlicky) lunch then afternoon tea or wine at the end of our day.
We'll be preparing beds, weeding and planting on a working farm, so please wear closed toed shoes and something warm that you don't mind getting messy.
This is a first come, first served registration, and everyone is welcome. Use the form to below to secure your spot. See you on the 18th!
Mossy Willow Farm is located at 547 Main Creek Road, Main Ridge. The farm is only 15 minutes of the Peninsula Link Freeway and 1:15 from the city. If you are coming from Melbourne, have a look at our dedicated carpooling site where you can offer/catch a ride with some of your fellow garlic planters!
